The Social Educator

Call for papers

We are now accepting papers for upcoming issues of The Social Educator.

Themes
​We are seeking articles based on key themes such as policy, curriculum and pedagogy on and about social, civics and citizenship education. Articles exploring perspectives on political education and education for sustainability are particularly welcome.

Manuscripts should be a maximum of 6000 words excluding abstract and references. Please include an abstract of 150 words. All referencing is APA 7th Edition.

About The Social Educator

The Social Educator is the official journal of the Social and Citizenship Education Association of Australia and provides a forum for innovative practices, ideas on expanding teaching, and scholarly research in relation to social and citizenship education. The journal is a space for practitioners, researchers, and all who are involved in social and citizenship education (broadly defined) to come together and share  ideas, research, and practices.
